I'm pretty sure the commentator "siderite" did not watch the same series as I did. K-Grade is not silly, the Japanese w/subs made perfect sense, nobody was "frowning" their way out of trouble, I can't think of how it "borrowed" from other anime, it is nothing like the Ghost in the Shell series, (which I disliked), and there is no copying from that junk. I admit that the first few disks aren't explained for a while, but it all adds up in the end. When it's finished, if you get it, you'll be sitting there in awe and thankful that you experienced it. It is one of the best anime series you'll see, and I've seen too many to count since 1984. Don't listen to that other guy.
Before I start, yes the show is really called "Kiddy Grade". While the show seems silly by name and at times just plain silly, it should not be underestimated, because the show is surprisingly enjoyable. Basically the main characters are 2 "ES member(basically Galaxy police)" known as E-Claire and Lumiere. E-Claire is a childish acting and young looking woman who wears skimpy outfits and has a knack for funny intros. While Lumiere looks around 10 years old, and is more professional than acting e-Claire. And she is constantly reminding e-Claire to be more "elegant". The chemistry between these 2 characters is wonderful. Their mission? Maintain order and peace in the galaxy.

That's the basic premises of the show. A lot of the first few episodes of the show are basically about watching how these 2 work as a sort of galaxy police, which includes seeing them going on some bizarre missions.. So the beginning of the show is somewhat slow paced but quickly picks up once a certain someone's past begins to catch up to them.

Without giving too much away, let me just say that this is one of the best new anime's I've seen in a quite a while. The characters are charming and funny, the music is epic yet it can be very laid back and have a lighthearted feel, and the action scenes were very good as well. E-Claire's lipstick whip is awesome! The animation was also really good with some NICE special effects.

Overall this is a great anime that gets very emotional and uplifting in the final act. With powerful themes like morals, rebellion, and following your heart. So if you can mind all the obvious fan service in the earlier episodes you should definitely check Kiddy Grade out! Don't let a great show like this pass you by.
646f9e108c A spin-off ride from the film 'Twister'. Universal Studios has done it again, in constructing a one of a kind thrill ride that makes your hair blown crazy and your voice numb from the screams. The ride consisted of standing in a room that looked like a totaled house (complete with a car stuck in the roof and chicken noises) where we watched a movie with Helen Hunt and Bill Pullman about the how twisters are so devastating, then that part ended. We were brought into another room that looked like the drive in scene during Twister, where a little wind began to whip around and we could see a faint storm far off into the distance. Suddenly, out of nowhere, the wind picked up to an exhilarating pace, lightning clapped and brought down the Drive in sign with sparks flying in every direction. Then, when you thought it was over, they SOMEHOW formed a realistic looking twister not even 10 feet away from you... and then it all just suddenly... ends... real quiet like. But you leave with a feeling like you survived something beyond belief. Now where's Real TV?? I got a story for 'em!!! This ride was a real kicker! I liked it a lot! WARNING MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS/ADVICE. A gas tank thing explodes and a lot of fire comes out. Recommendation: if you're in the front row, it's REALLY hot when the fire comes out. Also, on the back row, I think (but I'm not sure), but it might drop down a little or something. Very fun ride and definitely worth the wait in line! Uniquely, it is neither. The attraction is meant to be a special effects simulation, but rather then sit in ride vehicles such as in other Universal attractions including Disaster! and Jaws, the guests stand on an observation deck, and watch a recreated scene from the Twister movie which is "destroyed" by a faux tornado. The deck drops down at the conclusion of the experinece. Yes, in the extended queue area for the ride there is an advertisement for a Paranormal travel agency.
a5c7b9f00b Walker, a Texas ranger, believes in dealing with the bad guys the old fashioned way, by fighting them. He also works on instincts. Trivette is his partner. He was a former player for the Dallas Cowboys football team. Trivette uses the modern approach to crime solving, such as computers and cellular phones. C.D Parker owns a bar and grill which specializes in Western cuisine, and Country-Western themes. He gives Walker advice on some cases. Alex Cahill is the assistant district attorney. Walker, a martial artist, and his partner Trivette are Texas Rangers. They make it their business to battle crime in Dallas and all around the State of Texas. When you ask people what are some of the things Chuck Norris is known for, you will probably get one of the following answers:

1. His action movies 2. His karate tournament career 3. His tall tale facts 4. Walker Texas Ranger

Walker was a TV show that ran from 1993 to 2001. The story was about Cordell Walker a Texas Ranger who fights the bad guys with his martial arts skills. This show would feature some top name actor and actresses but however it enjoys some camp quality features. Some of the things that make this a camp show are:

1. Mediocre script. 2. Over the Top acting at times. 3. Quasi stormtrooper effect (When I say this I mean one man taking out a bunch of people, however in this case Cordell has his martial arts abilities and is trained)

The script was never anything special. Some characters seemed wooden or were stereotyped mainly this applied to the support characters of the episode. The acting was at times over the top and was quite obvious some people seemed a little too excited to get beat up.

Even with some of these problems this is still a good TV show and one of my favorite shows of all time. I'd never thought that I would be caught saying this: But I think "Dog the Bounty Hunter" is more entertaining than this 90's era cop drama. Walker is very melodramatic and actually set a standard of the genre of "High Octane" cop shows such as CSI, CSI: Miami, and so forth. I'm not saying all these shows are bad, but they aren't good either. I like the karate chop action that Walker dispenses on the enemies of justice, and the diverse cast of characters as much as the science tech of the CSI series. But there are some elements that I hate in a show like this. Stereotypes/Countertypes! That's right, Stereotypes/Countertypes! Unfortunately, this is a show for the moderates of Red State America who refuse to part with the old prejudices of yore especially when it comes to crime. For example, there was an episode in which a kid with psychic powers ventures into Dallas where he encounters group of kids in Goth/Punk clothing and they start harassing him. Now! This is exactly what Middle America perceives the Goth/Punk culture. I mean come on, how often do people that dress like that rob and steal from people just minding there own business. Whenever there are Blacks and Latinos in the plot it's always about gangs in some impoverished neighborhood. Okay! Not everyone who's a minority is a desperate recruit of a gang surrounded by crime, drugs, poverty. Again, this is what Middle Red State America sees of these people. Finally, Why is the Trivette the bumbling sidekick, can't you make the sidekick an equal ass-kicker? (First Verse) In the Eyes of a Ranger, the unsuspecting stranger

Had better know the truth of wrong from right.

'Cause the rule of law and order starts at the Texas border,

With the Lone Star of the Ranger shining bright.

(Chorus) For the Eyes of a Ranger are upon you;

Any wrong you do, he's gonna see.

When you're in Texas, look behind you,

And that's where the Ranger's gonna be.

(Second Verse) In the Heart of a Ranger, he'll never know the danger

Of desperate men with nothing left to lose.

The Ranger keeps on coming; so there ain't no sense in running,

'Cause he's bound and sure to make you pay your dues.

(Repeat Chorus)

(Third Verse) When a Ranger's on your trail, he won't know how to fail

And you can't buy him off at any price.

So if you decide to ramble, and with your life you'd gamble,

Know where you are before you roll the dice.

(Repeat Chorus)

If you see him coming 'round the outskirts of town,

Never take that Ranger for a ride.

(Repeat Chorus)
